It Started with Ice Cream

A small custard stand on Route 6. Nothing fancy. Just good ice cream and a spot that felt right. That was the beginning of Red Rooster.

The Roof Got a Cone

Heinz Tiede took over and put a giant ice cream cone on the roof. Added the chalet-style building. Suddenly, you could spot Red Rooster from a mile down Route 22.

Over the Years

Kevin Bacon Ate Here.

Kevin Bacon. Michael J. Fox. Timothy Hutton. They all came through the same window, ordered off the same menu. No VIP section. Just Red Rooster.

The Faces Behind the Window

Andy, Jon, Jack. You might not know the names, but you would recognize the faces. For decades, they made this place feel less like a restaurant and more like home.

New Owner, Same Standard

Joseph Fiore took over. Same quality. Same community. Same feeling of welcome every time you walk up to the window.

Three Generations Deep

Joe Jr. joined the team. Families who came here as kids now bring their own. The burgers still hit the same.
